Hi, great to meet you, I am Darlene Brown. I look forward to meeting you in person soon.

Just a little of my background…
I have had a very interesting life thus far and have had quite diverse careers – banking, military and now health – massage therapy.

I understand the benefits of massage and a healthy, active lifestyle not only from a textbook point of view, but also from my own personal experience.

Yes I have done all the wrong things when it came to looking after myself - not getting enough sleep, working too hard, eating badly, doing little or no exercise and not looking after my well-being.

When I needed mending, I sought natural therapies and a lifestyle change to rectify my unhealthy life. I have found massage, diet, yoga/meditation and hard exercise to be the most beneficial to me personally – body, mind, soul. There are many therapies that are helpful – too many to name.

I am the first to admit it isn’t an easy road and I wanted to give up many times but I kept going and I am reaping the benefits now - so STICK AT IT if you choose to change your life!

I love to help people and because I have some life experience, I think I am able to associate with your pain (having suffered similar injuries myself). I have always been sympathetic to others suffering and always wanted to help anyway I could. So massage is perfect for me!

I get great satisfaction when a client experiences pain relief and I was very excited to be a Foundation Member of Finch Therapy which works well to relieve chronic pain associated with non-structural dysfunctions. It is a very successful, easy treatment and some of the results are amazing so I just love to utilise this excellent tool. Finch therapy and remedial massage are my favourite modalities so I stick to what I do best.

I love my garden and hope that you do too and that you are instantly relaxed and able to gain more from your massage treatment once you have walked in the front gate. If you are lucky you will also see Charlie and Marty (my very sleepy cats) wandering around or passed out on a chair or under a plant – I want to be a cat!

Life is very short and it isn’t until too late that we realise we have nearly missed the boat so SMILE, be HAPPY and LOOK AFTER YOURSELF!!!!
